Ice Kacang Puppy Love & Instant Noodles

Went to KLCC for the 7th World Instant Noodles Summit Kuala Lumpur on 21 april 2010
Earth Food, making It Happen

I'm only a visitor lol, from UPM

See how many FREE instant noodles that i took at the international forum of WINA. Obviously, I'm just too GREEDY!
All the instant noodles are from Japan, Brazil, Indonesia, Phillipines, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, China and Russia. I only managed to take a few samples from some countries. How am I going to finish it all? haha, i doubted myself too, but I'll bring some home if poosible and left some for next semester!

Desserts after lunch at the forum(how delicate the desserts are)

My lunch. There were so many foods to eat, so luxurious meal, but I have only 1 stomach, of course I could not possibly try all the buffets foods there. I really miss the lunch, because it was the most LUXURIOUS, HIGH CLASS & most importantly FREE meal that I have ever had in my life. I could recall the name of the food, but do belive me, the foods were really one of most expensive foods that some of you all may have in your whole life! Felt uneasy being served by the profesional servers there, cause I have get used to serve people in Uni lol!

There were unlimited free flows of Nestle Yogurt, Nestle Yogurt Drinks, All sorts of flavours of Nescafe in tins, Kit Kat, Milo Wafers, sweets, Nestle Drumstick(Strawberry, chocolate, vanilla & blackforest flavor) Ice -cream. There were morning tea and afternoon teas as well. 1 stomach just could fit all of these temptating free foods! There were also Maggi Mashed Potato machines too, but I have no space in stomach to have it~
it is absolutely FREE!

There was a formal dinner and cocktails too for the forum but we had to dress in formal. Unfortunately, we did not so we went back to Uni after the forum ended. But we should really dress in formal in this particular special event. Everyone wore coats and formal wear, but not us~There were so many foreign representative all around the world. Everyone of us get a headset which we could switch into 3 different channels of languages namely Japanese, English or Mandarin if we could not understand the languages by the speakers. The translators translate all of the speakers' words on the spot same time with the presentation of the speakers! Oh gosh! They were really profesional & excellent enough!

Opening ceremony of the WINA forum...grand & interesting enough

I have changed my perception on Instant Noodles after the forum. Instant noodles is often associated with unhealthy and imbalance foods. That is why the forum is held. WINA(World Istant Noodles Association) has working hard to change this perception in terms of nutrition, ecology, social responsibility and so on. Instant Noodles has do more than providing meals, it enables many of disaster victims to survive after the disaster and provides a better foods and
life for humans somewhere in this world, Kenya for instance. But of course, they do not encourage people to eat Instant Noodles 3 meals per day. Strive for a variety and well balanced of diet in order to stay healhty!
A special experience for me. It was a golden opportunity to experience this because this year it is held in Malaysia. The forum is held once every 3-5 years(I'm not so sure) in different countries. WINA makes my day!

Watched Ice Kacang Puppy Love on Ladies Day at TGV The Mines

Honestly & undoubtedely. it is a GREAT movie of the year!
Funny & meaningful movie which brings out the life of a young lady. Touching at the same time, a good movie as we normally could guess the ending of a movie, but nope for me for this movie. But quite disappointed with Fish Leong, cause she merely speaks at the movie regardless being the 2nd main actress in the movie. Gary has no image in the movie, haha, never mind la since his image not good already before this. Nicholas appears only 2-3 seconds at the end of movie, by smiling. Penny too, by speaking a few dialogues towards the end of movie.

Jonker88, everywhere in Jonker Street we need to line up if want to eat there, nothing special even though you see lots of people queue up
Baba Cendol RM1.80

sweet sour pork with rice

sweet sour pork with rice & ice lemon tea

Capitol Satay Celup at Lorong Bukit Cina, the most famous satay celup in Malacca

so many people line up during the midnight.

RM0.80 per stick, is some kind like you pay what you get

expect so much from the satay celup, but in the end, i still think that those usual satay still taste better and worth~at least no need to queue up at the malacca roadside on 12.30am just to get those expensive yet ordinary taste satay!

Jonker Street flourished with rubbish on 2.30am, i saw this on the way back to my room after have my supper at Capitol Satay Celup...Malaysian culture that loves to throw rubbish everywhere!

View from Menara Taming Sari(Panaramic Gyro Tower)

8 of us waiting for the tower to move up

see how small is the Eye On Malaysia(I wonder should that give another suitable name? like Eye On Malacca?)

Bubur Cha Cha(RM1), tasteless because too dilute with water

Restoran SS2 Murni at SS2, Petaling Jaya

around 6pm, still you can find some seats there....heard that it is always full house and completely packed with crowds at night! So, what's so special about this restaurant? let's see...

Roti Seafood

Naan Cheese(with mozzarella cheese i think)

Roti Hawaii

Claypot Loh See Fun
Giant Ribena & Soursop Juice

we also ordered Mee Raja, Roti Salad, Roti Tuna...all the foods that we ate are all signature items of the restaurant. All the portions are big and generous in the filling. You can't find a menu there. The waiters & waitresses will name all the menus in just a few seconds upon request and you won't even listen clearly because it is just too fast!

The price? actually we also not so sure because they count it so fast, but on average every dishes is RM6-RM7 per plate. We have 5 plates of roti, 1 mee, 1 claypot and 3 giant juices, and a total of RM62, there are 6 of us sharing every dishes, guarantee your stomach full!!!Really got to try if you are in PJ because this restaurant is not just a normal one!

after we had our meal, we left and the incoming customers will have to share tables with others, and that time it was getting more crowds...

SS2 Murni Restaurant (Restoran SS2 Murni)
Jalan SS2/75, Petaling Jaya,
Mango Loh Loh RM6

Mah Toh Yau Dessert(Around RM10++)

Mango Loh Loh, Honeydew Loh Loh(RM5.50) & Mah Toh Yau(everything got)

For me, nothing special of all these desserts la.....
得不到的东西, 我们会一直认为他是美好的, 那是因为你对他了解太少, 没有时间与他相处在一起. 当有一天,你深入了解后,你会发现原不是你想象中的美好.
