Day 5

My friend and I went to Midvalley on Saturday. We settled our brunch at Teppanyaki.

Chicken and rice

The bean sprouts portion was definitely generous.

cover half of the plate and the chicken.

thanks to her that willing to give me shelter for 3 nights

Finally I tried Gong Cha~~

Left:  Her Snow Cap Green Tea with White Pearl
Right: My Snow Cap Winter Melon Tea (RM5.90)

Refreshing and nice as usual~

Bought a set of  four of  Doraemon mooncake from Bisgood. 3 years consecutively I bought mooncake back home from Selangor since there are more varieties and flavors to choose on.

RM60 for 4 pieces of mooncake and a bag

Went to The Mines since there were no sales in Midvalley.

Settled dinner at The Wok, The Mines. My Mapo Tofu dinner was so spicy~

Day 6

my two juniors use Samsung S Advance. I nearly bought S Advance too but at that time no stock available. So funny that we three like the same devices.

So glad to spend my days with them

Met Jeff and the teams from MyFM in Leisure Mall

Bought Rotiboy at Leisure Mall. Hard to resist the aromatic coffee and buttery smell of the Mexican bun~

Glad that eventually I did not cancel the trip due to some sudden factors. Thankful that the week was a delightful and enjoyable one until I don't feel like going back to home so soon.

Last group photo shooting with my coursemates~

Lunch at Burger King, Phuket International Airport

This two set meals costs us 590 Baht!!! which means RM59 for 2 set meals.

Double Cheese Burger..which I paid RM30.50 for it...

I only bought a piece of Thailand silk scarf for myself. The rest--cashew nuts, sandals and Tees are for family and friends.

Thailand Tom Yam Instant Noodles and some junk foods as souvenirs.

Starbucks Orange Juice given by my coursemates working in Starbucks! Each of Starbucks staff are entitled to have 2 drinks per working day~
Souvenir from Australia by one of coursemate who went to Melbourne to visit her bf.

Traveling to Phuket wasn't as cheap as I thought since the place was too commercialize and crowded with tourists all year round. Reached the Serdang area and I spent my 3 nights at my friend's house before going back to Kuching~

Phuket and KL Trip: Day 2 & 3

On the second day, the itinerary was the visit to the most happening island in Phuket, the Phi-Phi Island. Since I'm worry the safety of the personal belongings such as camera, thus I didn't bring along it with me. Thus, no photos to share for the beauty of the island =)

At night, we went to a restaurant serving western and Thai dish as they offered 20% off for us. We divided among three smaller groups to share the foods.

Pineapple Lassi 80 Baht

Everything were spicy~~

Tom Yam Goong, available almost every meal

Morning glory, steamed fish and sweet sour tofu

Penang Kai...i wonder why this dish is named Penang

Thai Fragrant Rice..force myself to finish the rice every meal as my friends not allowed me to waste it. So fattening!

On the third day, we went to visit to James Bond Island.

Long tail boat to James Bond Island

We all love Phuket =) with Baby James Bond at the back

Lunch was arranged at Panyee Muslim Fishermen Village. We were told in advance that we would have our meal in a Muslim village...end up all of us WOW.... after seeing the luxury meal on the table.

Panyee Muslim Fishermen Village

Our tour guide of the trip

I wonder how much was this meal cost?

Tom Yam Goong

Crabs!!!

Coca cola and plain water...unusual to find such packing nowadays in Malaysia

After the island visiting and lunch, we were brought to

Jewelery shop. We bought nothing there since the place was not suitable for fresh graduates like us.

Shop selling local Thai products...and also to a factory selling T-shirts

Fake cashew nut...one fruit one cashew nut..no wonder cashew nuts so expensive~~since it was not the season, thus we missed the chance of seeing the real cashew nuts trees.

Last night in Phuket...tried some street foods~

This place claimed they served best stickyrice and mango in Patong

Mango Sticky rice...not bad...the sesame added fragrant to the dessert
