Thinking of where to head for breakfast at the heritage town of Malacca? Simply walk around and I believe you can easily find any delicacies nearby Jonker Street!
#1 Low Yong Moh Restaurant Dim Sum, Jalan Tukang Emas
Open as early as 6am, this place offers a wide selection and most importantly it is a very reasonably priced dim sum place. We only managed to tried a few type of dim sums to save our tummy tank for other foods.
Light dim sum breakfast for 2 person...around RM15
was surprised to see the coffee bag dipped in the coffee...cause never saw coffee bag in Kuching before...
#2 Calanthe Art Cafe, Jalan Hang Kasturi
Craving for coffee to wake up your day?
The only cafe that serves 13 States' Coffee in Malacca
Penang Coffee...Superb black looked coffee roasted with Robusta beans.
very kao!
Sarawak Coffee...50% of Robusta beans & 50% of sugar, margarine & wheat flour
No margarine and wheat flour taste gei?
Both small cups of those speciality coffee priced at around RM4.50 each, inclusive taxes.
#3 Chung Hwa Coffee Shop
1/4 Hainan Steamed Chicken (RM16) with 5 pieces of Chicken Rice Ball (40cents each)...total RM18!
I prefer the steamed chicken eaten with loose chicken rice rather than rice ball...too bad Chung Hwa Coffee Shop serves only chicken rice ball...Upon seated you are served with one set of steamed chicken with rice ball...you doesn't need to worry what to eat cause you have no choice at all.. but still crowds out there are overwhelming! To avoid the crowds, it is highly advisable to go during the morning time, around 9.30am.
#4 Jonker 88, Jonker Street
One of the most common and famous shop in the street. Great place for one bowl of hot Laksa and icy Cendol.
Nyonya Asam Laksa RM7 with Cendol Ice RM4....
love the beancurd and tauhu pok dipping in the laksa gravy!
