Another Japanese themed restaurant in town! Izakaya @ Icom Square offers
reasonable lunch sets with wide array of choices during weekdays. I went twice,
once on weekdays and once on the weekend. Salmon Teppanyaki set and Tori
Teriyaki set is only RM16 per set. All set comes with a few tiny side dishes
and drinks. If you opt for normal sets on the menu (not lunch set), the side
dishes are slightly different and no free drink given. The price is higher and
the portion seems to be almost the same with lunch set. Strongly
recommended to try their weekdays lunch sets instead going on weekends or other
dining time
You will be given these when you dine in Izakaya. I was like a "suaku" when I saw it this. It was actually a dried towel. When you place the towel into the petite water pond, the towel will absorb water and expand into a wet towel. Watch the following video for further understanding.
It's RM0.50 per towel
Check out the wet towel
Watch this video for a clearer picture on how the towel absorbs and expands
Spacious and comfortable looking of the restaurant
I had Kamo Nanban Soba (Soba with duck meat) (around RM18++)
The portion was really small that I had to steal some foods from my companion
Yakiniku Don Set RM30 (Beef set)
The set comprises of a bowl of rice (small serving but great as there's lots of foods in the set itself), half cooked egg, chawanmushi, salad bowl, miso sowl, some side dishes (lady finger, fried fish & fried bittergourd) and dessert of the day
Set lunch during the weekdays.
Having sweet tooth after the lunch...
Miss Y Bakery & Cafe
German Cheesecake RM9
I love it as it's not too sweet and light.
Apple Crumble RM3.50
Not up to my liking though =(
