Home-made veggie steamboat

 Steamboat can be so quick and easy. Especially it comes to veggie steamboat and limited resources.

 Had a veggie steamboat using rice cooker with my 3 roommates at our room. One of my roommate is a vegetarian.

Dinner of the night: Tofu, brocoli, corn, mushroom, tomatoes, mee, cabbage, eggs, golden mushrooms and some more that I could not recall.

 And a 10 seconds self timer snapshot of the night.

 There is another One Chef  outlet at Jaya One, PJ.

We ordered set meal. Each set cost us RM 12.80. 10% service charge is applicable.

Soft and Tender Slow Braised Chicken

The chicken was indeed soft and tender. Overall food was okay but not stunning for me.

 The food there did not convince me to visit for second time. I guess the restaurant should offer something unique in order to expand their business profits.

All the staff there are guys. Many food establishments out there hire only guys. i found out same for The Paddington Pancake House at Midvalley too.

I like the way she expressed the words. Really. I wish I would have good Chinese base to express my words. I did not have strong background in my Chinese writing and language though I went to Chinese primary school and took Chinese subjects till my Form 5. 

Indeed. I agreed with her. That is the case of what happening around me and Uni. Sometimes I just could not figure out the exact cause. It distracts me a lot. A lot than what I could endure. It hurts.

Probably there is nothing much or I should make my words clearer, nothing at all I could do with it. That is the truth of the life. Whether you like it or not.

Snowflakes, Pavillion KL

 Finally, Snowflakes! I remembered first time I gave up queuing because of the long crowds!

Now, I'm smart enough so I went there during late morning before 12noon. Thanks to Cecilia for going with me though she had visited Snowflakes Subang for XX times!

A beeping UFO that is given to dine in customers. It will vibrate and flash when your order to ready. 

It was superb hot in outdoor. But we felt cold due to the strong air condition inside the Pavillion mall.

I was in a huge dilemma what to order. Grass Jelly Series or Taroballs Series or Japan Combo?

 COLD or HOT? 

Finally a decision was made. But it was not a sound decision. A better choice should be done. I ordered the Snowflake best seller hot series. 

 It turned out to me like this. Nothing appealing huh? Indeed. I should order cold one instead.

 Grass Jelly Soup, Taroballs, Peanuts, Pearl --RM 6.90

I love the taro balls so much. But I hope it was less sweet. the grass jelly soup was sweet too. The balls are so springy. The orange balls I assumed to  be sweet potato balls.

Cecilia's order. She had a few times of Snowflakes before. Her comment was cold Snowflake was definitely a lot better than hot one. And next time must opt for less sweet.

I must try Snowflakes again next time. Cold series and taroballs is a ultimate must!

Dessert of the day Ice-cream. I thought the greeny is mint flavoured ice-cream but it turns out not to be. It is a honey dew flavor ice cream which I am not fancy at all. Luckily garnishing with sesame and crushed peanuts on top of ice-cream make a good desserts for me

the special thing of this restaurant is the some foods are moved in conveyor belt  which anyone can take those foods they like.  The food choices are limited but the cleanliness of the restaurant is better than those steamboat place I visited so far. The marbling of fat in meat is pretty attractive and quality too but I don't get to snap the photos cause I can't stop helping myself with all the foods.

and lastly Happy Birthday to Chin Yee. Last year the celebration was in Nando's, The Mines. This year we traveled a bit far to Puchong for the celebration. 

My first blood donation ever!

The first time in my life. I went to blood donation in the campus. Actually there are many blood donation campaign in my Uni but I didn't go any for it mainly because I did not have the courage for it.

Thanks for Yoke Mei for accompany with me to the Youth Health Event. We wanted to go for health screening and bone screening. But after checking for the blood glucose, blood pressure and BMI, we found out there was blood donation too. Thank goodness I was in normal conditions for all those screening I mentioned above. We were so scared but eventually we went through our fear together.

But something went wrong partly because I did not follow the nurse instructions well. It turned out my hand to be 黑青  . There was blood clotting around my hand during the donation period and now it is still painful. This thing won't not happen to everyone who donates blood, just something went wrong for my case causing my hand to be painful and  黑青.

Finally I get to know which blood type I am. My first experience was scary and painful too. I am a bit reluctant for second blood donation. But when there is the first, second, third and so on must certainly  drop by.

So, have you move out the first step?
