Ayam Penyet RM4.90

Anniversary deal from a shop that share the same place with Pezzo at Jalan Simpang Tiga. It's located somewhere opposite The Spring Shopping Mall and the police station.

It's at the Cita Rasa Shop? Not quite sure of the exact name though.

Ayam Penyet RM4.90

At the price of RM4.90, the taste and serving was pretty decent. There's nothing more to complain!

Damai Beach Resort, 88 Buntal Seafood Centre, Damai Central

Spent the weekend at Damai Beach Resort. It has been N years since my last stay there. We had a hard time securing a packing lot and we could not enter our room even we check in after 2pm due to our room was not ready (Thanks to the crowds over the weekends!)

Paid RM300 for one superior twin room for one night inclusive a breakfast for two. Luckily we got two queen beds that can accommodate 4 pax!

spacious room we had with little view to the beach and pool. Too bad we could not access to the wifi in the room.

mini bar section with mini fridge, coffee/tea making facility

private bathroom with basic shower necessities and hair dryer

Drove to Kampung Buntal for dinner. We randomly went to 88 Buntal Seafood Centre instead of Teo, Soh & Lim Hock Ann.

Thick Corn Soup (Small RM10), Fried Sweet Potato Leaves with Garlic (Small RM10), Golden Bittergourd with Salted Egg (Small RM10), Steamed White Seabass (seasonal price), 3 plain rice and 3 fresh coconut juice.
Paid RM79 for all foods and drinks for 4 pax. Foods were sufficiently well cooked yet limited parking space available.

Since there was only 2 complimentary breakfast inclusive and there were four of us, sis and I drove to Damai Central for breakfast. There were only 2 food stalls operating at the time we went there. Apart the long wait (we are among the first to order at that time), the quality of foods was also not up to a  normal food stall's standard.

Mee Kolok Soup RM6
worst and the most expensive Mee Kolok I had. Kolo mee seasoned with dark soy sauce & chilli ketchup and garnished with bean sprouts, some greens & fried shallots. No even one piece of chicken/meat/fishcake. Totally vegetarian type.

Fried Kueh Tiao RM6
Fried kueh tiao with chilli ketchup and some chicken pieces. Sis couldn't finish it. Why they must put chilli ketchup one in their cooking? Why? I should stay in the room and had hot milo and crackers as breakfast instead.

Sweet Flavors & Musbee Cafe

#1 Sweet Flavors, Jln Song

First visit:
Super attracted to the colorful iceberg presentation

XXL Iceberg Heaven
nice to see but not nice to eat at all...all the ingredients used were canned foods...not worth for the price...we couldn't finish the whole giant bowl...

Lok Lok from Mobile Lok Lok
Prawn Ball & Veggies Ham were pretty nice and the sauce was awesome...

Second visit (Kinda regret bought two coupons of Sweet Flavours after my first visit):

Sago Dessert with Red Bean
honestly I don't quite like it since it tasted not so fresh and weird taste somemore

Mango Napoleon
*like the vanilla ice-cream*

Lok Lok...not bad

#2 Musbee Cafe, Jln Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce

Teh Dangdut RM2

Snapping around while waiting for my buddy...And she was late and lost for more than 30 minutes...Musbee Cafe must be very very hard to find!

Lalapan Ayam RM12
I only like the brinjal and sambal (but too spicy for me!) for this whole dish! The chicken was so dry and I don't like the tempe at all...

Chat for 3 hours non-stop at Musbee Cafe. What a great catch up after so long!
