Perfect ending...Pasta Zanmai, Mid Valley

Upon finishing my final paper on 21 Nov, Sunday 4pm, I went by KTM to Mid Valley to have a sumptuous dinner. Pasta Zanmai was the place chosen since I heard a few good things about their special pizza.

First order,

Mini Ikura Salmon Pasta & Mini Chicken Katsu Rice RM 23

We thought it is small as it is written mini chicken katsu rice, but the rice and chicken turned out to be quite generous portion. However, the chicken katsu is not that nice, something like you could find at a normal cafe, nothing special, only it does make us very very full.

Salmon Pasta. Well, this is kind of small portion but quite nice. Must try out the pasta when visiting Pasta Zanmai. Not bad after all. But I bet one people is quite impossible to finish off the whole set of the Mini Ikura Salmon Pasta & Mini Chicken Katsu Rice. So better off for sharing, if not you will end up wasting the great foods!

Second order:
Unagi Kabayaki to Onsen Tamago no Pizza
Roasted Eel & Hot-spring Egg Pizza  RM 26

6 pieces in one whole pizza. Great for sharing!

See the egg? Gosh, the pizza is a perfect one! The thin crust is even thinner than other that I have tried before such as Vivo & Papa Jones. It is so different. The crust is crunchy and best eaten while it is still hot. The half-boiled egg is another significant point here, eaten together with the pizza with the yolks melting plus my favourite UNAGI. Highly recommended!

Too full by ordering the above 2 sets for 2 person. 3 person sharing for 2 sets is just nice & adequate. Good foods sucks if eaten at large quantities, am I wrong?

Happy or Sad???

Left 1 more paper in less than 22 hours,
Left less than 48 hours then I could have my dinner at Kuching
I'm so excited!

My 5th semester is near towards the end.
I know this semester will be one of the worst semester
Regardless of some failures and low score in tests
I start to find more of my way
I do care about my results, I do
But certainly up to some extent cause
I stop looking to notes and books when it's late at night and when I don't feel to do it
I found up there is more people out there care for their results too
At least to the extent more than I am
I'm that that competitive type of person

But I'm glad the time has finally come
Where I could throw away all the fussy notes and books
And most importantly,
Back to where I belong
The place where there is no loneliness and fear

The place that there are people that care for me

A taste of Pho Hoa (Vietnamese cuisine) , Hot & Roll at The Mines

My order:
The famous Vietnamese Drip Coffee with Milk RM 5.50

But the portion is small...and the coffee is not that bitter cause I thought Vietnam coffee is more bitter

Pho Noodle Soup with meat balls & steak RM 11.50

Come together with the soup bowl are basil & bean sprout

 meat balls & steak

The soup bowl tastes great to me. Might go for second visit again. Not all restaurants that I would intend for second visits~

The chicken is so tender. When you eat it, the texture is like you are eating fish. I love the spring roll either. Vietnam is famous for the spring roll.

Before going back to UPM, I bought Hot & Roll for my dinner.

Savoury Paratha Chicken & Cheese RM 3.90, complement with Giant Peach Yogurt RM 0.99 for dinner

Another stingy tofu post! From Seri Kembangan Pasar Malam

Well this time the stingy smell is a lot stronger than previous stall I spotted the other day. Good thing is the vegetarian words appear for the bunting. So vegetarian could try this out.

 5 piece at RM 3

with cabbage as accompaniment

Sadly, I was so anxious to try out the tofu but it turned up no more the third time for me. This stingy tofu is not as delicious as my previous visit at Cheras. I guess no more stingy tofu  at least for the next few months.

The buffet that I anticipated: Jogoya!!!

Think I'm rich enough to eat at Jogoya?
Indeed it is expensive. Normal price RM  100 for a person. But I just could not resist the temptation of having a more quality foods with so much variety at a so call--classy place. I have been long to pay Jogoya a visit but it is rather difficult to find a good company and good reason until...

5th Anniversary Celebration
LADIES 50% Off

Friday (Lunch Session)
    • Valid till 15th Dec 2010
    • Valid for all meal period
    • Promotion only offer for ladies adult guest
    • Dining time is limit to 2 hours
    • Not valid with other promotions
    • Promotion not valid for public holiday
    • Subjected to 5% government tax and 10% service charge
Total damage RM 50.70 per person. Price for lunch is RM 78 and 15% additional charges. The Jogoya is smart enough. Why I said so because the 15% charge is entitled for the RM 78 but not after 50% discount! We wondered why a person is RM 50.70 after 50% off. This is how they count RM 39(50% for ladies, lunch= RM78/2=39) + RM 11.70 (RM78X15%=RM 11.70) =RM 50.70.

I'm just so excited to have all the seafoods, Haagen Dazz, New Zealand Natural ice-cream, and high quality foods but too bad my stomach is too small for all these...

I knew not everyone could eat raw foods. But if u don't eat raw foods, please never pay a visit to Jogoya. It won't worth at all.

 Oyster!!! with wedges of lemon

my favorite: mussels and scallop

 Chocolate Fondue

New Zealand Natural Ice-cream. I personally think that New Zealand Natural Ice-cream nicer than Haagen Dazz.

All time favourite: Tiramisu

American Chocolate, Blueberry Cheese & Mocha Chocolate

Chocolate Mint & Blueberry Mousse

I did not ate only those illustrated above. I had more than that. Since all the pictures were taken by my friend and her camera, I took all the photos from her Facebook album. She only posted a few of them so...

I had Shark Fin, Sashimi, Cat Fish, Sushi(honestly Jogoya Sushi SUCKS), Salmon, Chickens....and many more raw thingy but I just could not remember the name and actually I didn't even know exactly what I had. I just put any appealing foods into my mouth until it became fully loaded.

As a food student, I knew that I had eaten much foods containing

CHOLESTROL
MICROORGANISMS

It was too risky as there are so much toxins and harmful contaminants for the seafood and foods that exposed to air for long. I'm sorry to my stomach. But it just once in a blue moon only.

No more Jogoya. I'm satisfied because I got the experience. I just love venturing out for F.O.O.D.S
