who am i?

after the AIESEC interview,
i found out i am actually not ready for everything
not ready to make a single move,
not ready to make changes in my life
i have always wondering to do something excellent or at least independent thing
but then only i realised
i am still standing at the old place
reluctant to move
i have not unlock the door to the outside world

Tell me about yourself
What is your greatest strength?
What is your weakness?
Who is your hero? the reason you admire him/her?
What is your greatest achievement so far?
What is the thing that you are proud of?
Promote the product given....
What will u react and do when given the situation.....

Honestly, the questions can be as easy as ABC to some people,
but certainly not for me....
the situations given are not as simple as you thought
the interviewer will try to ban everything you said!
it was hard for me to answer all these spontaneously with english
i dont even know who i am to answer all these questions
even if i am accepted to AIESEC,
i guess it must be some help from my friend
my performance was so terrible!
my english sucks!
am i really not ready for the first move to the outside challenging world?

Planning to go Midvalley on Friday after my 12nooon class, but the bad news was there was no komuter bus around that time( you know la, is Friday noon in Malaysia, obviously those drivers got the reason not to work). With 2 friends, we planned to call taxi to go to KTM station, or else we have to wait for 3pm bus, and i guess it was too late right. We bumped into one of my coursemate, guess what, she and her boyfriend were heading to Midvalley for 3-D Avatar. It was such an coincidence that we quickly jumped into the car and the whole journey only took 20 minutes from UPM to Midvalley. We wandered around and there was no sales at most shops, it was truly disappointing. However, I managed to bought a pair of shoes at Vincci@RM59. There was nothing much to buy and see and we ended up our shopping spree around 6pm. I bought Roasted Duck Rice @ RM6.30 at C-Jade Express. It was truly tasty, maybe because it was quite some time I did not eat duck. To be surprised, I bumped into my uncle and aunt ( my mom's brother and the wife) in Midvalley! It was really surprising, because we never plan this, and shopping at KL is their annual event. They come here every year to buy stuff for CNY, partly because Kuching do not have nice yet cheap stuff. I chat with them a while and they were going back to Kuching the next day( it means they were in Kuching now). I never met someone whom I knew here by that coincidence. Then, when we were heading to the KTM station to go back, we bumped into my coursemate and her bf again. They were going back too, and offer us a drive, so we just accepted. Wow, it was such a lucky trip for me haha.

I bought a piece of CNY greeting card. I can't recall since when I stop sending cards. I did not want to buy because I did not have any target to send, until when my friend told me to send one back home, and I told her that my mom must have scolded me to post one back, but my friend told me that sending one back could make them happy, so I bought one although I was quite regret buying it to send one home.

Bought a Shah Kek Ma, heard that this brand not bad, but yesterday I try, i still prefer Kee Heong one, more crispy & crunchy....

I bought nothing at Times Square and Sungei Wang, I was doubtful to buy a dress and a sweater after trying, but at last I made my final decision not to buy, because I have a few dresses that I seldom wear, and Malaysia is too hot to wear sweater. Nevertheless, i bought a belt for my sister at II collection@Sungei Wang@RM39.90 after 20% discount.

one more, I went to Aiesec Induction Day just now, surprisingly, I filled application form to be a Aiescer! I intended to join the Miracle Project only, but in order to join that, I must be a Aiesec member. So, the Miracle Director give an exception to me, that I can join Miracle first, then I also have to undergo member selection in Aiesec. I doubt myself to pass the selection, if not, it will turn up to be a shameful thing....but I am so impressed that all the members and new members are so fluent and good in speaking English. They are so good! I should work hard to improve my English....

Late post

I know it has been a long time I haven't post something new here,
Well, once again, I announce: I have back to UPM, continuing my 4th semester in Food Studies, majoring in Food Service.
Now, I am online-ing in library here as my room does not have internet access.
I am thinking to get a Broadband, but I am actually reluctant to pay the bills monthly because I am hoping I will not be addicted to online if I own a Broadband
Lets talk something about what am I doing last week....

1. 31 Dec 2009
I was shopping with Cecilia at The Spring. We had our lunch at The Manhattan Fish Market. We ordered Seafood Platter for two for RM48.90. It was all fried seafood and honestly the portion was way too big and we could not finish it and end up taupau-ing. It was nice but I don't really feel comfortable having all fried foods at the same time. Well, it was recommended dishes for the restaurant so I guess it was worth trying. I bought a Nicole white formal wear for one of my course which I take for this semester which require me to wear during serving time. I was given 70% off for it.

2. My Family Portrait

In order to look good, four of us=mom and my 2 sister went to Maison Monica at Kenyalang there to have make up, RM45 per person, inclusive of makeup and hair. Since we come in a group of four, we were given RM40 each. I have not got the chance to see the portrait yet, but actually I do think that the photographer is not good and professional enough, so hoping my family won't blame me for finding such a nonprofessional photo shooting house...

My sister and me. Honestly speaking, many said that I owe look different after make up, apparently this was not a good compliment, so I guess I should stay simple always, haha...

3. Working for 2 days as a ^Happy^ rice promoter at The Spring

It was indeed a new and fresh experience for me. My leg and whole body was in pain after standing for 12 hours for 2 days. Customers were entitled to get free caricature with a single receipt of buying either 1 pack 10kg or 2 pack kg of HAPPY rice. Many buy rice for this special offer. I was hoping to get one for me too, too bad I did not have the time to do so, plus the artist also drew non stop from 2-5pm, 6-10pm. There were some of his drawings, which I would like to share and the artist brought along his certificate of achievement and put on the counter.

4. My first MAS flight

Surprisingly for all of you, last Sunday was my first MAS flight. I owe support Air Asia due to the low fare, but nowadays MAS fare can be attractive too. There were many of this conveyor belt in KLIA, guess KLIA was too large, that is why they build so much of the belt, to avoid complaints from passengers for walking too far away? Hmm....I was given a set of lunch too while on flight, a choice of Sweet and Sour or Chicken Briyani. Of course I choose Sweet and Sour with guava juice and some fruits. I managed to keep the Kit Kat and the plain water, as I was too full to finish all of it. Taking taxi from KLIA to UPM cost me RM64.30 for budget one...

That's all I could say. Everything turns back to normal since I back to Uni, same routine, same foods, same people, same matters. As usual, life has to keep going, no matter how much I miss my home and family, no matter how much I cry and complain, no matter the same people keep stabbing at your back, I have to be strong, grateful to have a such experience.

This weekend going to Midvalley, Times Square & Sungei Wang to be a shopaholic for CNY. Wow...hope I could buy something nice yet presentable...haha..
