-Visited Bangkok & Hua Hin in November 2019-
My first Haidilao experience, it was at Central World Bangkok. We went a day before to place booking but the staff advised us to just walk-in in the morning the next day as their booking for the next few weeks were already full.
So we went there again next morning around 11am, press for our ticket and waited for our turn. In less than 15 minutes, we got our tables as the place was not full yet. I even had not enough time for to munch on the snacks at the waiting hall.
Snacks & drinking water
We had some fruits and beans as appetizers.
Tofu 63baht, ring roll 56baht, lean pork slice (half) 75baht
Tomato & Mushroom Soup Base, and 2 plain water of soup base (135baht)
Wahyu Beef Half 550baht
Noodles Dance
White Fungus Dessert at the sauce & dessert bar
Sauce & Dessert Bar, self service sauce for 1 pax is 45baht per person
We told the staff that it was my birthday and the staff arranged a platter of nicely decorated fried mantou to me. But it was chargable to our bill =( LOLx
Fried Mantou 82 baht
When our meal was almost done, I received a call that it was my turn for manicure. The staff told me she will wait for me for 5 minutes, if not she will skip my turn. Upon hearing that, I quickly stuff the remaining foods and went for my manicure. I took the manicure queue number after I press the ticket for Haidilao. There's only 2 staffs doing the manicure. According to my nail artist, normally two of them will serve only around 80+ clients per day.
Last for not least, ice-cream as dessert before leaving Haidilao.
Noodles are Free, what a steal
Total Spending: 1,148baht + 7% = 1,228baht (0.1389, around RM170.57)
We can actually save more by not ordering the Wahyu beef as we realized we are not very keen on tasting the beefy taste. Nevertheless, it was a special and worth experience as I managed to get my manicure done for free =)
Generally, having Haidilao in Bangkok is quite worth as compare to Haidilao in Malaysia. Some items in the menu are generally cheaper in Bangkok even after you convert to MYR.
