Dream Trip to Macau

Located across western bank of the Pearl River Delta in Southern Guangdong Province, China,   Macau was an overseas territory of Portugal until 1999. Macau is now one of the World Centre of Tourism and Leisure and the Historic Centre of Macau was fêted as UNESCO World Heritage List.

Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) is sending three lucky bloggers for an awesome 3 days 2 nights trip to Macau. As one of Nuffnangers in Malaysia, I would not want to miss out this golden opportunities! What's the three amazing things that make me want to visit Macau? Unquestionably, I am fascinated with Macau's historic, unique & authentic architecture like Senado Square, Macau's renowned foods such as Almond Cookies & Portugese Egg Tarts and finally magnificent view of Macau casinos.

1. Macau's Historic, Unique & Authentic Architecture
Macau is a place with unique cultural infusion of Chinese, Western and Portuguese cultures. One of Macau amazing architecture is Senado Square. Senado Square is listed n the UNESCO World heritage Site "Historic Centre of Macau". There are several historic and unique buildings around Senado Square such as Leal Senado Buiding, Holy House of Mercy, St Dominic's Church. I would love to visit these beautiful places, perhaps one day, and assemble the precious memories in my blog.

There are also other wonderful sightseeing sites such as  Taipa Village, Chinese Temple, Kun Iam Statue, Macau Tower, Macau Museums and Mount Fortress. Imagine you are standing in one of world's identified cultural and natural heritage. This certainly will be an ultimate and astonishing inspiration for the generations to come.

2. Macau Food Hunting
Macanese cuisine is a blend of Portugese and Sourthern Chinese Cuisine. Portugese Egg Tarts, African Chicken, Pork Chop Bun and Almond Cookies are among famed delicacies in Macau.

I'm blessed to be able to devour Macau well-known Koi Kee Almond Cookies! My bestie, Cecilia is currently serving for hospitality industry in Macau. Last April she went home and we had a quick meet up. She bought me a box of Koi Kee Amond Cookies! Koi Kee Almond Cookies is light, delicate, super crumbly and they seriously melt in your mouth. I'm missing it! I wish I could savor some of other exquisite kind of Macau foods and compile it in my travelogue!

My adorable niece Lynelle was busy picking up the Macau Almond Cookies to try on =)

3. Magnificent View of Casino Light in Macau
Macau is also known as the "Monte Carlo of the Orient". Macau's largest source of revenue comprises of gambling tourism.  Of course I do not gamble, neither do I gamble even during Chinese New Year. In fact, I would love to experience the beautiful night life of Macau myself. There are 44 legal facilities available in total in Macau. How would it be the Casino Lights in Macau? I always watch the amazing scene of Macau casino in TVB Dramas, thus I hope to have the opportunity to visit this magnificent place myself and share my Macau travelogue with my readers of my blog.

得不到的东西, 我们会一直认为他是美好的, 那是因为你对他了解太少, 没有时间与他相处在一起. 当有一天,你深入了解后,你会发现原不是你想象中的美好.
