English Afternoon Tea, My Sugar Bakes

My very first English Afternoon Supper Tea!

A super random decision of visiting The Sugar Bakes, Jalan Wan Alwi when we were chatting on the topic of English Afternoon Tea!

We ordered Traditional Tea Set RM49.90 (for 2-4 pax). The set comes with a pot of tea and 3 trays/layers of desserts.

a teapot...we had lemon ginger mint which is naturally caffeine free

Bottom: Wholemeal salmon sandwiches & Cream cheese/tomato whitebread sandwiches
Center: Plain Scone, Lemon Traycake, 3 piece of crackers, one tiny plate of Blackcurrant & Cream each
Top: Granny Smith & Seedless Grape

turn around

Attracted with the colorful layers of the Rainbow cake, thus we ordered a piece to try.

Rainbow Cake RM9.90
Impressive 6 layers of colorful cake but nothing special on the taste!

After the supper, I got bloated tummy due to consumption of too much creamy and sweet desserts! Recommended the above desserts for light snacks and the more people sharing, the merrier it is and less bloated tummy you'll get!

with the girls!

Cecilia gave each of us a box of Almond Cookies. She went back from Macau for a short holiday! She is always so thoughtful to give us souvenirs~

Infamous Macau Koi Kee Almond Cookies

The cookies were yummy and fragrant with the almond bits and crunch!

Pretty sure one box of the cookies wasn't cheap. Never mind lah cause she is earning the Macau currency! =)

得不到的东西, 我们会一直认为他是美好的, 那是因为你对他了解太少, 没有时间与他相处在一起. 当有一天,你深入了解后,你会发现原不是你想象中的美好.
