Maci at Petaling Street & late lunch at Sushi Station

Bumped into a Maci stall at Petaling Street! Oh ya, my favourite Maci. So I decided to try it out~

Got variety of flavors, namely Original, Green Tea, Ribena, Lychee, Pineapple, Black sesame, Black Glutinous Rice and Mango.

Ermmm, the aunty that sells the maci said that her maci won't stick on teeth and very delicious. But for me, I prefer the maci sold at Pasar Malam Seri Kembangan. I don't really like the Ribena and Lychee maci. Original tasted better. Since a box of RM5, I recommended of sharing with 2 or 3 friends, because I felt want to vomit even sharing with CK.

After wandered around Petaling Street, Times Square & Sungei Wang, went to Sushi Station for a late lunch. I can't recall how many times I had visited this place so far, since it is affordable and the choices are more suitable for locals like me~ hehe...

The food there is just on average. Just the price appeals to me~

Went to Fahrenheit 88 and bought a sandals at The Viss.

Went to Pavillion just to try the famous Snowflakes, but we spent so much time finding the Snowflakes. At last we found it, but the queue was killing my passion to eat. Finally, we left Pavillion with disappointed mood, however, Snowflakes, I will sure try it one time in the future~

Sushi King Oct 2010 Bonanza RM2

 

Manage to borrow a Sushi King member card from my coursemate. Thus, heading to Sushi King at The Mines to have our lunch. The operation hour starts at 11.30am but we already queued out at 11am and we were the 3rd groups of the people line out of their door~

total plates=24 (4 of us) I ate 8 plates of sushi! Yummy and cheers for my favourite UNAGI and SALMON.

Sanga Don

Finally I dined in Sanga, a Japanese Restaurant in Kuching.

I ordered Unagi Don Set, which I had wanted to try long ago. Heard that the Unagi is recommended if dine at Sanga,

 Unagi with Egg, the sauce is just too nice! I wish the unagi portion to be bigger.

Happy Mooncake Festival

This year Mid-autumn festival falls on Wednesday, 22 September 2010. But I bought 21 Sept flight back  to KL. Still I will celebrate the night at my room either alone or with my roommates but I bet they have their own plans.

Last year I bought Purple Cane Mooncake at Mid Valley and asked my besties to take to my home because I did not went back to Kuching that time for one week Raya break.

This year I also intend to buy Purple Cane but they did not sell the special edition like last year. My family loves the Purple Cane Blueberry Cheese. It was less sweet and the specialty was the mooncake was made of TEA.

I wandered around Mid Valley and did not know which mooncake brand to buy. A TianJe promoter grabbed my hand and gave me samples to try. Honestly I did not fancy the taste but during that time I was persuaded by the promoter. So end up I was paying for the bill...

I chose Spring Yam, Brown Rice Green Tea, Monoyama Grains and Chrysanthemum Moon. Believe me, I won't buy this brand if I could turn back time.

Charcoal type of biscuit and mooncakes are becoming popular nowadays. But the Bisgood Bamboo Charcoal Tambun Biscuit are not nice. Bisgood 谷城 has many attractive Doraemon mooncakes. I would rather buy Doraemon mooncake than TianJe but I only spotted Bisgood after I bought TianJe.

In Kuching, there are also common and popular brands of mooncakes sold such as 荣成 Yong Sheng, 麦可思 The Baker's Cottage, 六富 Six Happiness , 大同 Tai Thong, 海外天 Oversea, 锦仑泰 Kam Lun Tai, 友爱 Yu Ai,  喜月堂 Hei Yue Tong. Luckily I did not buy any of the brands because what's the point if it was available in Kuching yet I bought it at KL and brought along back to Kuching?

Anyway, Happy Mooncake Festival to everyone!

Brought a chocolate cheese mooncake from Chin Hian Chia, Padungan, a famous mooncake manufacturer in Kuching to share with my lovely roommates at UPM!!! It is solely produced in Kuching if I'm not mistaken...

I miss my flight just because I checked in 25 minutes before departure

My original flight was 0730 MAS. So I checked in on 0705 but the stewardess said that my flight was full and end up giving me Marrybrown/KFC breakfast voucher and 1105 flight

 

KFC hasn't open yet so I ended up at Marrybrown.

 

Of course I chose the most expensive breakfast meal~nasi lemak

MAS is so famous for delaying! AA gives RM200 voucher upon 2 hours delay but MAS only gimme a meal. I would try to avoid taking MAS because everytime I travel by MAS, the MAS would delay my flight and I never reach my destination on time! This time I even can't get in the flight that I bought! How weird and RIDICULOUS!!!

The spaghetti and sauce were tasty. Next time will try the Signature Prawn Pasta with pork.

 

Lamb Shank

The portion was generous enough. I wonder why it was curry type of sauce. Maybe due to Raya?

On one cloudy day, I made pizza at home. Good thing of homemade pizza: choice of filling and thickness of crust.

 

Minced meats, sausages, crabmeat, pineapples, onions and lots of mozarella cheese. The taste isn't that bad. Next time I could open another Pizza Hut. haha.

Damai Beach

On one sunny day, I went to Damai Beach with my two besties.

The weather was so hot. I could barely open my eyes.

 

Now sunglasses came to its use. I need it to protect my eyes.

I'm sure we all cherish the moment. Everyone has their own direction of life, I know it was hard to have such a day again but I do hope they keep their promise. *laugh*

NEW HORNBILL BBQ STEAMBOAT (新犀鸟阁烧烤火锅), RH Plaza

I was attracted to the steamboat because it serves individual pot and thus more hygienic.

Choice of chicken soup base or tom yam base. I chose chicken soup for my pot. The soup was EXTREMELY salty. I asked to add more plain water.

Processed Foods: My favourite yam as filling. The worst part come: I gave a plate of raw and bloody meats to BBQ and a plate of processed foods(#6) to fry, but then the staff put the finish fried processed food on the plate that put the raw and bloody meats!!! 

Basic rule of handling foods: Raw foods and cooked foods should be separated to avoid contamination!!!

Of course I didn't eat the processed meats because I still want to stay alive. I'm sorry that I created excessive food waste.

Last but not least, King's Ice-cream as dessert. All time favourite: Mint, Yam and Vanilla.

It has been almost a week I'm at home

Tons of assignment are queing and I'm not eager to accomplish any of them

I keep questioning myself what is the most important thing that take place in my whole life

What am I looking for, why and how I'm going to do it

It seems that I never found the right answer

I realise that I am so far away from the direction of my life

Everything single thing that I expect in the past, are no longer the apple of my eyes

Am I changing too fast, or just I have not found the exact way of my life

Growing is one of  my concern

But I never get to grow mentally nor psychologically

Will the day ever appear in my life?

Will someone live well without a particular direction?

I'm desperately looking for mine,
